This event was created to raise awareness for childhood obesity and promote active and healthy lifestyles in our youth and communities. More than 23 million children and teenagers in the U.S. are obese or overweight, a statistic that health and medical experts consider an epidemic. Childhood obesity puts nearly one third of America’s children at early risk for Type 2 diabe...tes, high blood pressure, heart disease and even stroke – conditions usually associated with adulthood.
Healthy kids Day and the Flag Football tournament will officially start at 9am
Where: Loveland, Colorado at the Loveland Colorado Sports Park
Free to the public! Bring out your kids for a fun day at the park, where they can participate in activities and games, meet the Colorado ICE football players, the ICE Cheerleaders, the ICE mascot 'Glacier' and the Madwire Webdesign SUPERHEROs.With out a doubt it will be a fun time for the whole family.
