An elderly couple in Wattenburg, Colorado, had their home burglarized by 2 male suspects pretending to be roofing contractors on Saturday.

After entering the residence in the 11000 block of Edward Street, one suspect distracted the couple as the other took a large sum of money, the Weld County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.

One suspect is being described as a younger Native American approximately 5'6" tall with a slim build. Both suspects were driving a white pickup truck or SUV.

Just 2 days before, a similar burglary occurred in Morgan County with suspects being described as "2 darker-completed males, possibly Hispanic, in their late 20s to 30s, one thin, the other stocky." These suspects had also been driving a white SUV - the make and model unknown.
