After staging what amounted to a small scale museum display of incredible items from the history and present of hockey that included the Stanley Cup and the Con Smythe Trophy, and wowing the crowd with the dazzling skills competition, the Eagles will  play host to the ECHL's finest at the All Star Game tonight.

The Eagles have known nothing but success since they arrived in Northern Colorado 10 years ago, and hosting the All Star Game will probably be no exception.

As a person who was lucky enough to work closely with the Head Coach and President Chris Stewart for two years, I am certain that they are well prepared to show their fans and the rest of the ECHL what Colorado hockey is all about.

Coach Stewart seemed to put two things in front of all else--good hockey and fan experience. Those 2 things seems to inform the way that the whole organization operates, and it is the reason for all their successes, on the ice and off.

Expect no less as you go to see the ECHL's finest skate at Budweiser Events Center tonight.
