Driving With Your Pet in Your Lap Needs To Stop

I have noticed this happening more and more frequently lately and it needs to stop.

We all know that texting and driving is dangerous, so is driving with your pet in your lap.

I have been seeing little dogs hanging out the driver's window or sitting in their laps and it is getting to be too much. I am all for your dog riding in the car, but not in your lap. Why? Because I have almost been hit on 2 separate occasions by people with dogs in their laps. On top of that, I have seen a few others driving pretty awful around town. These have all been separate instances around town with in the past few weeks.

Is it the dogs fault or just a bad driver? It could be both for all I know, but the dog laying on your arm, or hindering your turn radius isn't helping make your bad driving any better. Just put the dog in the back and focus on driving please.
