It's no secret that I love video games.  I've loved going to arcades since I was very young.  It must have been on one of those early arcade visits, then, that I fell in love with another kind of game: pinball.  I go out of my way to play pinball.  I know a great place in Estes Park that has several machines, and I have to make time to go every time I'm up there.  Every time.  I've found one or two pinball machines scattered around movie theaters and bowling alleys closer to my home in Fort Collins, but I've still longed for somewhere with a bunch of machines in one place; that is, until now.

Pinball Jones is in Old Town Square in Fort Collins, right around the corner and down the stairs from Beau Jo's.  I walked in and was immediately in heaven...for the most part.

Pinball Jones's selection is wonderful.  20 pinball machines (including some very old vintage ones), and a couple retro arcade games (like Ms. Pac Man) made for a happy Drew.  My only critiques would be the sweltering temperature that is inevitable when you put a ton of machines in an underground room.  Propping the door open and utilizing a couple oscillating fans would have been greatly appreciated.  Though, considering how much fun I had playing all manner of pinball in one place, I didn't mind that much!

I would definitely recommend checking out Pinball Jones at least once.  Check out the pictures I snapped in the gallery!
