Do you go to the gym? If so, there's a chance that you are skipping one thing that could lead to living a longer life. According to Newser, a study out of Finland shows that sitting in a sauna may actually cause you to live longer. The study followed 2,300 mend over 20 years to see how often they would sit in a hot steamy room would affect their life-span with all over factors being controlled.

The results showed that risk of death for that those who frequented the sauna at least four times a week, fell by as much as 31%. They believe that the heat and steam has a relaxing effect, as well as a positive effect on the cardiovascular system. According to Dr. Rita Redberg, "Time spent in the sauna is time well spent."
