According to ABC-7 Denver, OC Raw Dog is recalling it's Turkey and Produce Raw Frozen Canine formula because of the possibility of contamination from salmonella.

If you have the food that was packaged into 6.5 lb Doggie Dozen Patties and 5 lb bags with the lot number 1511 and the use by date of 10/8/15, these are the products that are being specifically recalled.

The food was distributed throughout Colorado along with the states of Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and MIssouri. It's also sold through independent pet specialty retailers.

The recall was issued after routine sampling by the Nebraska Department of Food and Agriculture found a presumptive positive to Salmonella.

If you have the recalled dog food, send a photo of the package with the lot number to Olivia@ocrawdog.com for verification.  You may also return the food to the retailer where you purchased it for a full refund or replacement product.

Customers with questions may contact the company at 1-844-215-DOGS (3647) Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. PST.
