Do You Tip At Sonic? [POLL]

So, I can't even count the number I have times I have been in a discussion about tipping at places like Sonic.  When you eat at a restaurants that doesn't provide table service, do the people that bring your food deserve a little something extra?

It's a dilemma for some, to tip, or not to tip?

Should you tip at Sonic?

I think that answer to that question all boils down to you. If you feel like someone did a really good job or treated you extra-special, I'm sure they would be happy to get a little extra scratch from you. But I don't think a car hop will be cursing your name if you don't leave him/her a tip.

Even on the Sonic website, there is no mention of tipping. They offer a Sonic 101 that says you park, browse, press, receive, and pay. And under pay, all it says is pay your car hop with cash or with a credit card at your stall, no mention of any tipping.

When I asked about tipping at Sonic on our Facebook page, one of our Facebook fans put it like this:

I used to work at Sonic. We didn't really expect tips because they were rare, but much appreciated when people did leave a tip.
