Tutus are an incredibly popular (and adorable) accessory to wear at the Insane Inflatable 5K. But the thought of having to sew something - when you don't know how to sew - is overwhelming. Fortunately, you don't have to sew in order to make a tutu!

This no-sew tutu is actually super easy to do. All you need are ribbon and spools of tulle (which can be purchased at Hobby Lobby, Joann Fabrics, Walmart, etc.) and a regular pair of scissors. I bought my ribbon and tulle at Hobby Lobby while they were 50% off each, which helped me save a lot of money! (My total was around $11.) These places also sell a wide variety of colors for both ribbon and tulle - I wanted something princess-y, so I picked pink, orchid, lilac, and sparkly lilac. There are also variations of blue, green, black/grey, white, etc. for you to choose from.

Cut the tulle into "strips" at a length that works for your body (keep in mind you'll be folding each strip in half), and simply tie those strips around the ribbon.

I've put together a video tutorial to show you the super easy process (which you can view above!). My dog, Jaq Jaq, helped me with the video, so he got his own tutu, as well!

Send me your tutu photos - I'd love to share them! Either tweet your photos to me, or shoot me an email.
