Colorado is one of the fastest growing states in the country, with many tech industries moving to the region. But not everyone is seeing the positive effect.

When you look throughout Northern Colorado, we are seeing continuous growth and some might say that we are growing too fast. In some cases that may be true, and maybe the best answer would be to see some of these towns that are struggling to be part of the success.

I had the chance to look at the website Zipatlas, as they give many different statistics concerning every state in the nation. On this website, you can look at the graduation rates for towns.

You can also take a look at the demographic breakdown, the average salary of each resident, and even more. It definitely is a great site to give you more of an indepth look of what Colorado towns have to offer.

But which towns in the state rank towards the top of the regions that have the most people living below the poverty line? Some of these may surprise you, and some of them you expect to be on here.

We ranked this in order from the most people below to poverty line, on up. Our choices were also for towns that had a population of more than 10,000 people so the number couldn't be skewed that much.

Take a look at this list and tell us your thoughts! Are you surprised?
