2011 was a good year for music. So many great songs came out that you may have missed some of them. This is my top five songs of 2011 that you may have missed out on and that I played over and over and over.

5. Mayday Parade- Oh Well, Oh Well

It was hard for me to pick one song off of their latest album because I loved them all. I highly recommend checking out more by them.

4. Parachute- Forever and Always

I love a song that tells a story and puts the images in your head. This song not only does that but it is sad and touching at the same time.

3. Go Radio- Redemption in the Verse

Honestly, this was another hard one to choose because their whole album is so good. Again, I say you should check out their whole album.

2. Skrillex- First of the Year

It's dubstep and people either love it or hate it. I love the way all the sounds come together. I could go into more but that is for another blog.

1. Childish Gambino- Heartbeat

His stage name is Childish Gambino but you may know him as Troy from NBC's show "Community" or just his real name, Donald Glover. His album, "Camp", dropped just recently and I couldn't stop listening to it. It is another one of those albums that is done so well and I had a hard time choosing just one song off of it. If you don't mind some adult language, then this is a must have for you.

I hope you enjoyed my list of just some of the songs I was obsessed with in 2011. Honestly, I probably could have made this a top 50 list.

Here is an honorable mention because it was just released a couple of weeks ago

Avicii- Levels (Skrillex remix)
