Denver Zoo’s New Lion Cubs Make Public Appearance, Cuteness Overload Ensues

Two months ago the Denver Zoo welcomed two new additions to the Lion Pride.  One male and one female cub made their much anticipated public debut this morning.Two-month old male cub, Kalu (pronounced Kuh-Loo) and female cub Kamara (Ka-MAR-uh) made their first public appearance with the rest of the pride this morning in the maternity yard of the Benson Predator Ridge.  They were exploring, playing, and doing what little cubs do.  Zookeepers say the best time to see them are between the hours of 10a-12n which likely fits in perfect with holiday schedules allowing for time off this week.  If you just can't wait to see them, check out video cuteness overload!
