Denver Mailman Thought Corpse Was A Halloween Decoration

Although Halloween is over a Denver mailman is still being haunted after he realized he mistakenly thought a dead body was a Halloween decoration.

On his daily route, a Denver postman walked past a corpse and didn't think anything of it. The mailman did remember seeing the body, but he didn't think anything of it as many houses were decorated for Halloween.

In a statement from the United States Postal Service about the postal worker, "When the carrier learned that was not the case, he was shocked and extremely upset."

The man who passed away is reported as Dale Porch(46) who ironically passed away on his porch after returning home from work.

The USPS is calling it  "an unfortunate situation" that probably would not have happened any other time of year."

"Our carriers have a long history of assisting customers in neighborhoods across the country each and every day, and that holds true for our letter carriers here in Denver."
