Denver Hit-N-Runner Left More than an Apology Note
Nothing like working on Sunday, then coming out to your car at the end of the day to find someone had hit it and taken off!
Thankfully, for Mandi Shepherd, it was only a scratch on her bumper. But wait. As she started driving, she also noticed her driver’s side mirror was way out of adjustment. Weird. Now what was this? An envelope wrapped in a baggie, tucked next to the mirror?! Indeed. In it was an apology note… two $20 bills… and half a joint.
“Hey I am very sorry truley. I am such a dumba**. Please forgive me.
Sorry 4 the scratch man.”
Would this “polish up” the situation for you? There is a chance it would take less than $40 to buff out a scratch. And hey, if you know the right body man, he might just take that doobie instead!
