Denver Broncos Fan Who Died Monday Was From Milliken
The Denver Broncos fan who died Monday night after the Broncos’ game was 36-year-old Jason Coy of Milliken. As he was leaving Sports Authority Field at Mile High he lost his balance and fell 60 feet to his death. Police say Coy had been sitting on the railing before falling.
Jason left behind a wife and five children, ages 11, 8, 5, 2 and 6 months. A GoFundMe account has been set up for his family.
Coy's neighbors on Wagon Trail Drive in Milliken were heartbroken at the tragic news and spoke fondly of the always jovial family man. Please see more in The Denver Post.
In a news release, the Denver Broncos said they would investigate the fall. “We’re reviewing this tragic incident and will continue to maintain all necessary safety measures for our fans.”
Jason Coy died after falling 60 feet from a stair railing at Sports Authority Field at Mile High after the Denver Broncos game ended Monday night, October 24, 2016.
