After three years, Death Cab For Cutie have confirmed details of their new album. By now a household name in the States, the Seattle group's fame has yet to translate to a British audience.

Working on their new album, 'Codes And Keys' is due to be released on May 30th. The material could represent a breakthrough moment for the band, with Death Cab For Cutie revealing more details about the album.

Recorded with Alan Moulder, the new album has a much more expansive sound. The producer's credits include work with Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins, with work extending throughout 2010.
