If you're under the impression that you can only get arrested for DUI in a car, I hope this story educates you.  I also hope the absurdity of it makes you smile at least a little bit.

Joel K. Bruss of Apple Valley, Minn., was arrested back in January for DUI while driving a Zamboni. According to the Huffington Post, parents of youth hockey players became concerned when they noticed Bruss swerving the Zamboni across the ice and running into things between games.  Needless to say, police were called.

The Star Tribune reports that when the officer arrived at the ice arena, the zamboni was stuck, having partially ran off the ice.  When Bruss got off the zamboni, he could barely stand and much of his speech was slurred.

Bruss admitted he had been drinking at home earlier that evening and that he had driven himself to work. Shortly before 10 p.m., he agreed to submit a urine sample to measure his blood-alcohol level. The test results showed that it was 0.32 percent. The legal limit to drive in Minnesota is 0.08.

So not only was this guy driving a Zamboni drunk, he was driving a Zamboni REALLY drunk.  The spectators managed to snag some video of the impaired Zamboni-driving.  Enjoy!
