Daily Dose of Weird: Brothers Make Musical Instruments Out of Vegetables [VIDEO]

Chinese brothers Nan Weidong and Nan Weiping go through a lot of vegetables, but it's not so they can get all their vitamins and minerals.  No, their veggie pursuits are a bit more...artistic. 

Weidong and Weiping make a living playing homemade vegetable instruments on local TV shows and talent competitions.

The two grew up surrounded by vegetables in China's central Anhui province, but their music teacher father encouraged them to learn conventional instruments from a young age. As teenagers, they joined a local theatrical troupe.

Then, around two years ago, they became fascinated with using produce to make music.
