Ever wonder what happens to all that's left behind by students at the end of the school year? It all winds up in a little place called the CSU Surplus Property (I'm thinking that's where those cool mustard yellow seats that were in Clark A went, too. Also, I miss those.).

Every summer, Colorado State University lets us raid their hoards of furniture, equipment and bikes at the tent sale. According to CSU Surplus Property, over 36,000 pounds of belongings are collected from student housing as a part of the 'Leave It Behind' program, including mini-fridges, clothing, household goods and more, and they're put up for sale at a bargain at the Annual Tent Sale.

The tent sale is set for Saturday, June 18, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the CSU Surplus Property on Lake Street, and is seeking volunteers to help (and you'll earn $5 off).

You can check out the list of items you may find at the tent sale at Colostate.edu, and the other surplus items available via Craigslist.
