For the first time in more than 10-years, the Colorado State University women's basketball team are number-one in the Mountain West Conference. Their coach, Ryun Williams, has been named the MW coach of the year.

Williams led the lady Rams to a 23-6 regular-season record and CSU's first MW title in 12 years. The team also had six all-Mountain West honorees for 10 different awards. (Including; Co-Freshman of the Year, All-Freshman team, All-Defensive Team, Second-Team All-Mountain West, and Sixth Player of the Year.)

Not too shabby for a team that finished 11-19 last year. Congrats to Williams and all of the players on a stellar season.

Today the top-seeded Rams take on 8th-seed Utah State at the Mountain West Conference Tournament.  Here's to hoping they can continue their winning ways and bring home a tournament championship too.

Go Rams!
