Craigslist Users Offer Support For High Park Victims

I am an avid user of Craigslist.org and frequent the “free” section on a daily basis. It was a pleasant surprise to see our community come together when I started noticing community members offering assistance to the High Park fire victims.
With the burn reaching nearly 55,000 acres it is heartbreaking to think of how many people are affected by the fire, and how many of those people have animals that were cared for on their properties. It is however such a pleasant thing to see families offering their services from horse boarding to inviting people into their homes and turning garage sales into fundraisers.
Many of people have been asking the question, “how can I help?” Well there are many ways that you can assist the victims of the High Park fire.

- Donate to www.ColoradoRedCross.org
- Salvation Army at www.ImSalvationArmy.org
-Visit the Larimer Human Society Website or donate dog and cat food to their shelters.
- Create your own garage sale fundraiser such as other Craigslist users.
- Or a simple “thank you” can go a long way. Visit HERE to write a thank you to our firefighters who are hard at work. Those “thank you’s” will be turned into cards and given to the hundreds of firefighters, emergency service providers and volunteers.
