According to a press release sent out on Wednesday, construction on Coyote Gulch Park in Windsor will begin on Monday, June 29th.

The park, which will be located at the southeastern corner of Highland Meadows Parkway and Aladar Drive, is expected to open in October, 2015.

Amenities of the park include playground equipment, two covered shelters, a basketball and tetherball court, bocce and horseshoe pits, a bike repair station, and landscaped road buffers around the park’s perimeter.  It will also have low level lighting for evening pedestrian traffic.

The project is being funded via the Town’s Park Improvement Fund, which is made possible through neighborhood park impact fees, obtained from building permits.  Nine contracting companies submitted bids to the Town, the lowest being $1,264,869. McCauley Constructors, headquartered in Windsor, holds the winning bid and will be the project’s general contractor.
