Colorado State University Students Strip Down for the 2013 Undie Run [VIDEO]

2,000 nearly naked college kids running through the streets of Fort Collins sounds like another party gone bad, but actually it's not. The students all took off their clothes for a good cause. And half nude college kids are kind of fun to watch too... 

This student-organized tradition, that has been going on for nine years at CSU, celebrates the close of the spring semester. It also aims to bring awareness about sexual violence and consent amongst college students, formed a team this year called Team Consent.

The Fort Collins Police Department helped monitor the event and closed off sections of Laurel street next to campus Friday evening to create safe passage for anyone looking to strip down and run through town.

Each item of clothing that was left behind on the street will be donated to a local charitable organization.

“At this event, people focus on what others are wearing, but now it’s normalized,” said Abigail McDonald, a member of the Brigade. “Our group is participating because it’s important to send the message that sexual violence and lack of consent shouldn’t reflect what someone is or isn’t wearing.”
