Colorado Inmate Given Rusty Pliers to Pull Tooth by Jail

For most, tooth pain is excruciating and not something that is to be dealt with lightly. One inmate at a Colorado jail was given rusty pliers to pull a tooth. The end result was scary.

As the Denver Channel reported, an inmate in Sterling, Colorado was given a pair of rusty pliers to extract an infected tooth.

A lawsuit has been filed claiming that a nurse and deputy gave the inmate the rusty pliers after weeks of the inmate complaining about pain from the tooth.

He was given the pliers and told to have his "fellas" yank the tooth. Which they did and things got even worse for the inmate.

The pliers slipped, the infected was tooth was broken, the pliers then slammed into another tooth breaking that one as well.

Two months later, he was finally seen by a dentist to have the teeth removed.

Law enforcement said they have not received the lawsuit so they could not comment on the situation yet.

Ouch.
