Colorado Gas Station Robbery Under Investigation

Deputies are investigating the robbery of a gas station in Niwot Sunday night.

According to a press release from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, a Hispanic male demanded money from the store clerk (shown above), leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash Sunday night just before 7:15 p.m.

No weapon was reported having been seen in the robbery.

BCSO says the suspect is further described as wearing a black hoodie and red mask or bandanna over his face. He is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs approximately 200 pounds.

This incident is currently under investigation by the BCSO and Longmont Police Department, as a similar robbery occurred around the same time.
