A fisherman in Colorado may have hooked a pipe bomb on Monday.

According to Denver7, the Adams County Sherif''s Office bomb squad was called to Barr Lake State Park after a fisherman hooked what park officials believed was a pipe bomb.

Remnants of the alleged pipe bomb can be seen in the Twitter photo from Denver7 reporter Sally Mamdooh below.

Officials say the incident didn't affect visitors and the lake, which is just northeast of the Denver metro area, stayed open as usual.
