City Park Pool ‘Pooch Plunge’ Tickets On Sale Now [VIDEO]

If your a dog lover you've probably dreamed of taking your furry friend along for a trip to the pool on a hot summer day. Unfortunately most pools don't allow it because of sanitary issues and the fact that fido's fuzz takes quite a toll on pool filtration systems.

But City Park Pool in fort Collins has made an annual tradition of closing out their season with a dog-friendly "pooch plunge." This year's plunge is scheduled for September 5th from 4-7pm and tickets are on sale now.

Pre sale tickets are on sale for $5.00. Each ticket is good for one canine and two humans at City Park Pool on September 5th (Additional human guests cost $2.00 each).

If you wait until the day of the event, tickets go up to $8.00.

For many years I have wanted to check out the annual pooch plunge, but I always end up being busy on the afternoon it is scheduled for, but this year I have hopes I'll be able to bring my corgi's to play in the pool. Are you going to bring your pups to the pool?
