Christmas Lights on Houses Already?

Last night I had to run an errand and when I was on my way home I spotted something out of the ordinary… Could it be? Christmas lights on a house already?

Yep, that’s exactly what it was! The beginning of October just seems excessively early for some yule tide cheer. Maybe they never took them down? Maybe they love Christmas that much they just had to put them up this past weekend? Either way, I think that Christmas decorations shouldn’t go up until after Thanksgiving. Am I wrong on this one?
