To celebrate the Rams first home football game this weekend, local artists will be covering several sidewalks in Old Town on Friday with CSU-themed chalk art.

Most of the chalk drawings will be done during 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the sidewalks near the intersection of College and Mountain. As a way to spread some Ram Pride throughout the community and make game day even bigger in Fort Collins, the 15 pieces of art will include many prominent characteristics of CSU, such as Cam the Ram, the Oval, and the Aggie "A". This CSU-spirited event is a collaboration between the Downtown Fort Collins Business Association, Colorado State University's creative services team, and Pastels on 5th who are also known for their annual chalk art festival in Loveland. If you happen to be in Old Town on Friday, or cheering on the Rammies from a bar on Saturday, be sure to stop by and check out the chalk!
