Apparently Scrabble isn't even safe from the audacity of scandals! The 2012 Scrabble Championship was held in Orlando, Florida recently and apparently one guy didn't like the odds that were before him. This player was actually kicked out of the tournament for the first ever cheating scandal to hit the Championship. What did he do you ask? Rather than trying his luck with the letters that were given to him, he decided to use an illegal blank tile. He smuggled in the blank tile hoping to use it to make a word if he was stuck.

"It's unfortunate," National Scrabble Association executive director John D. Williams, Jr. told the Associated Press. "The Scrabble world is abuzz. The Internet is abuzz."

Williams also stated that they are one step away from drug testing claiming that not all of the players play fair. Meaning, that some may be using Adderall, the drug that enhances focus, giving some people a slight edge.

What do you think of this? Do you think they should start testing?
