Cat Honored as Crossing Guard [VIDEO]

Animals are awesome and this cat is one of the reasons why. His name is Sable and twice a day during the week he goes to a corner in his town of Richland and watches kids go to and from school. He has earned him the name of "the crossing guard cat".   It doesn't matter if its raining, snowing or sunny Sable, who is 15, sits there every morning and afternoon to watch the kids cross. He wears an orange vest that his owners got for him and he usually gets there 5 minutes before the kids.

It's like he knows how to tell time. He even stays in on the weekends knowing that the children don't have school. For his awesomeness he was awarded "honorary safety patrol member".

The only thing I can count on my cat to do is beg me for food, sleep, eat some more and then sleep.
