The brands of cat food being recalled can potentially have low levels of thiamine (Vitamin B1).

Brands affected in the voluntary recall include 9Lives, EverPet and Special Kitty cat food. It's recommended you stop feeding your cats the food listed in the recall immediately and contact the consumer relation line at the company 800-828-9980, Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET or you can email the company at consumer.relations@jmsmucker.com.

The lowered level of thiamine can have a significant impact on your feline's health over time.
For a list of UPC codes and bags being recalled, visit the company's release on the recall.
