I am thinking ahead here... Summer is in full swing, but before you know it, winter will be bearing down upon us. I have almost a dozen pepper and tomato plants that are in my backyard now and I want to grow peppers and tomatoes all year long. How can I do that in the dead of winter? Hydroponics!

Ideally, I would like to grow 6-8 tomato and pepper plants in a hydroponics set up, but I have no idea where to start. I have seen a few pvc pipe setups online and I am intrigued by those as they seem that they would be the most cost effective way to grow. Can anyone give me some insight as to how I would be able to have a little indoor farm this winter? If you help me out, that would be much appreciated!
