Sad news out of Laporte Sunday, emergency personnel were called out for a U.T.V or Utility Terrain Vehicle accident. One of the U.T.V. passengers died in the accident.
Late Sunday afternoon the Larimer County Sheriff's Office was called out for a single vehicle accident near the intersection of WCR 54G and Pueblo in Laporte.
The Sheriff's Office, Poudre Fire Authority, Poudre Valley Ambulance and the Colorado State Patrol responded to the U.T.V. accident. The juvenile male passenger, now identified as 15-year-old Mason Pascoe of Fort Collins was found dead from injuries he received in the accident. Apparently the side-by-side U.T.V. rolled over onto Pascoe. The driver of the vehicle, also a juvenile male was not injured in the accident.
It does not appear that drugs or alcohol was a factor in the incident.
