Boyd Lake State Park invites the public to an open house, Tuesday, June 2nd, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Gertrude Scott Room at the Loveland Public Library, 500 E. Third Street, Loveland, to discuss the park's redevelopment plan.

Purpose of Open House

The intent of the open house is to get some guidance in future Boyd Lake State Park development from neighbors, stakeholders and partners. Boyd Lake State Park has been working with consultants from Design Concepts to create the redevelopment plan and hopes to solicit ideas, preferences, wants and needs from the community to make the most of the park.

Boyd Lake is one of Colorado’s 42 State Parks which lies in Loveland about 4 miles west of I-25. 1,700 acres of surface water and over 300 land acres makes this a great accessible park for biking, boating, camping, educational programs, fishing, hiking, hunting, ice skating, jet skiing, picnicking, swimming, volleyball playing, water skiing and more.
