It was a concert for a great cause-- every penny from every ticket sale went to the Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity-- and Blue October was more than happy to come and perform for free to benefit those in Northern Colorado who need a place to sleep at night.

It threatened to rain on the huge line of people that gathered to see Kenzie Culver, Parachute, and Blue October live at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten on Friday, August 5th.  However, after a cool sprinkle the sky opened up and the sun began to set, making the perfect setting for an outdoor concert.

Kenzie Culver rocked the house with her new singles and awesome yellow shoes right before the lead singer of Parachute went up onstage and played for his adoring fans, and then told the hilarious story of how he was once mistaken for Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad.  After the show, fans hovered around him, eager to snap a photo.

When Blue October came out, the fans went crazy and some even began shouting requests at the singer, who just seemed humbled to be there.  We were so grateful to have you, Justin and Matthew, and we hope you come back soon!

The total amount donated to Habitat for Humanity was over $5,000, and we're so thankful to everyone who donated throughout the night for supporting this amazing cause.
