Every year I start hearing about Black Friday deals and my thrifty, money saving voice says "do it"... but then I think about the logistics and I just don't know that potential savings are worth the lines, the pressure, the other shoppers, the possible empty pile of items I wanted.

I do know if I decide to do it, planning is mandatory.  I read an article on CTNow.com  with the tips below!  Click here to see full article.

1.Start with a plan. Visit BlackFriday2010.com, BFAds.net, Black-Friday.net and other Black Friday websites for advance info on sales.

2.Monitor Facebook and Twitter pages for coupons and late-breaking sales alerts. Check store and mall websites for hours, maps and coupons.

3.Get the paper on Thanksgiving. It will be filled with special sales flyers and coupons.
