Before I go any further, I just have to say it is amazing not having to commute hundreds of miles per week in order to do morning radio AND live where I love! I know I-25 a lot better than I planned on way back when, but that's okay. It's been a fun journey. I live with my amazing wife and three grade-school-age girls, and we have as much fun as we can get away with camping, snowboarding, gardening, riding bikes to downtown for food & drinks, going to concerts, sitting by the fire pit, listening to something out of the record collection, or working on a house or garage project. We have two dogs, a lab and a husky, who we take out for exercise every day so they don't drive us nuts – and a funny gray tabby cat, whom I have had since before anyone mentioned above. I watch next to no TV, but when I do, it’s usually reruns that I find dependably funny, like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Chapelle’s Show, or a killer movie like Super Troopers, Harold & Kumar, Cheech and Chong, Scary Movie, or something else I discovered back when I had no kids and lots of time to watch TV! Nowadays, there’s oftentimes something like Fixer Uppers playing in the background while I work on refinishing one of the rooms of our house. It’s hard to explain ‘why’ I do what I do on the X. I guess it’s just something that helps complete me and makes my day go a lot better after I hit the door at 10, largely because I hope it does yours, too.
