Yes, there's another closure on Wednesday and Thursday this week in Fort Collins.

According to a news release from CDOT, Union Pacific Railroad plans to resurface the crossing just west of Timberline Road on CO 392 (Carpenter Road) beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, through 6 p.m. Thursday, August 25.

CDOT says drivers will detour along Lemay and Timberline to get to Trilby and should expect delays.

This closure couldn't have come at a more perfect time (*sarcasm*), as Prospect's closure has prompted the widespread use of Mulberry and Harmony as the city's main access to I-25. So what's the harm in causing more delays to yet another interstate port like CO 392, right?

You're not alone - I'm frustrated, too. One of our contributors explained last week that the City of Fort Collins is to blame for summertime traffic problems. Read his rant HERE and let us know if you agree or disagree!
