I drive through this intersection like a dozen times a week, and it's weird that the old house at the corner of Taft Hill & Harmony Roads tended to look different almost every time I looked at it.  Almost like it was alive.  I would notice boards on the windows that I hadn't before, one of the porches sagging more than before, or an old powerline still running to it.  I wonder how long it had been abandoned, because it had been as long as I can remember.

With the turbulence of constant expansion, construction, and scenery changes in Northern Colorado - When I see something like this old house, I like to picture what it must've been like all around it when it made sense for it to be there.

There's a lot of that around, too!  Have you been on County Road 74 (a.k.a. Harmony) east of the interstate lately?  That has to be so weird, and possibly sad and aggravating, to have suburban/metro life popping up in your front yard (oftentimes literally!)

Anyway, I noticed a couple days back that this house was bulldozed.  I wouldn't be a bit surprised if JJ's puts in a second location right there!  Their little empire can barely keep up with the business, especially on warm weekends when everyone is going up to Horsetooth (or farther!)
