Andy Grammer Plays Red Rocks For The First Time

Last night was an amazing night to be at Red Rocks. It was a sold out show with Train, Mat Kearney and Andy Grammer. And while Train was great and Mat Kearney was amazing, the highlight of the night was Andy Grammer. Andy is a great entertainer as it is but the energy he brought last night was phenomenal!

The night started out with an intimate performance of a couple of songs performed on his bus with some lucky winners who were ecstatic to meet him. He is such a nice guy with one of the greatest personalities. Then from there we went to our seats and waited for him to take the stage. As soon as he stepped foot on the stage, you could just feel the energy flow through out the greatest venue in Colorado.

This was his first time playing Red Rocks and he made it memorable! He "woke up" the crowd by interacting and making them sing. He performed his awesome cover of Rihanna's 'We Found Love' and had people dancing in the seats. But the highlight of the night was when he jumped off the stage, walked into the crowd and made the trek, through the crowd, from the front of the stage to the top of the venue and then back down to the stage, all while singing. In the sea of people, you couldn't see him, but you could tell where he was because a wave of people rushed to him and followed him where ever he went. It was one of the coolest things to see. Plus, not only was it cool it also was an amazing show of stamina! He was able to keep singing the whole time, running up stairs, in the Colorado altitude, which is even difficult for most natives, let alone someone from sea level.

Andy you sir are one of the greatest performers! Please keep doing what you are doing and soon we will see you headline at Red Rocks!
