Amazon Fulfillment Warehouse Coming to Colorado

You open up your web browser on your computer, tablet or smartphone and you shop. Fer me, my go to online shopping outlet is Amazon. 3 day free shipping with Prime is convenient to say the least. With the news coming out of Aurora today, it could become even more convenient! The Denver Post is reporting that a new Amazon fulfillment warehouse will be stationed right here in our state.

The possibility of getting your Amazon packages faster is a plus... However, the new warehouse is going to create hundreds of jobs, which is even better! According to the Denver Post "We are hiring for hundreds of associates for our new package sorting center in Aurora," Amazon spokeswoman Ashley S. Robinson confirmed in an e-mail on Monday. The warehouse which is located 5 miles south of Denver International Airport will be a huge 452,400 square feet and the primary use will be a sorting center for the packages. The expected date for the warehouse to open is November 1st of this year.

Now, I am hoping that this will bring an opportunity for the Prime NOW delivery service! Probably not... But I can still hope for it!
