Adele Is Pregnant!
Congratulations to Adele! The ’21′ singer announced today (June 29) that she’s expecting!
Adele, 24, announced the happy news on her official website, writing, “I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.”
Note that she said first child. Does this mean she wants more? Love it!
The formerly unlucky in love songstress and boyfriend Simon Konecki, 36, have been taking steps to make their relationship more serious, and insiders say that Adele believes he’s the one. “She wants to get married this year,” a source said. “She’s been longing to settle down with a man who will treat her well. She feels Simon is the one — and doesn’t see the point in waiting.”
While no wedding plans have been announced just yet, the source says not to expect a huge blowout bash from the privacy-loving chanteuse. “She’s not the type of girl who wants a massive church wedding, hundreds of guests and photo rights sold and tons of security,” the source dished. “She would want everyone to let their hair down and have fun without anything too posh.”
Congrats to the happy couple! We’re jealous of the lullabies that this baby’s going to get.
