Adam Levine Breakup: Anne V Wasted No Time Publicly Announcing Split

Adam Levine and his girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna broke up earlier this month, with the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model announcing it to the press immediately after it happened. Turns out the singer / ‘Voice‘ coach was totally blindsided by the split, even more so when Anne V started talking to the media about it.

Us Weekly reports that Anne initiated the split and began to discuss it publicly so it didn’t look like she was being dumped. She reportedly broke up with him while he was at home in L.A. and she was in N.Y.C. Ouch. What a mess, huh?

A source close to the situation told the tab that it “was a cheap shot.” The insider went on, “Anne didn’t want it to look like he broke up with her.” The friend also said that Levine, 33, was blinsided and is “heartbroken… He wasn’t even fully sure they were really broken up.” Even though he didn’t see it coming, those who knew the couple apparently did. A friend of the European stunner, 26, said that she complained that he didn’t pay enough attention to her.

With a job on a major reality show, a role in a scripted series in his future and a new album on the horizon, Levine certainly had a busy life, so we could see if Anne felt a little back burnered. It’s sad that his professional boom may have cost him his personal life.

Sources also say that Adam was not ready to commit further and marry Anne, and that she was thinking about that.

Poor, Adam Levine. We hope your heart heals fast. Maybe you can go hang out with your bromanctic partner Blake Shelton a little more and he can keep your mind off things.
