A Woman Paralyzed By A Hickey?

After reading the title you probably thought it was a joke, well its true. This happened in New Zealand and apparently a 44 year old woman showed up at a hospital unable to move her arm and the only injury that the doctors could find is a hickey over her artery on her neck. The hickey was so extreme that it caused a clot in her artery that went down into her heart and caused a minor stroke. Luckily she got there in time and they administered anticoagulant to eliminate the clot.

Two things- Isn't she a little old to be getting hickeys? I thought those stopped in high school.

Second- It just goes to show, no matter how bad you thought any of your past dates were, at least you didn't end up getting paralyzed because of it.
