9NEWS Anchor, Kyle Dyer was bit in the face by a dog Wednesday morning during an interview regarding the ice rescue of that dog yesterday.  Dyer was talking to the owner of Max, an 85-pound Argentine Mastiff, just after 7:30 am live on the air when the dog bit her.

9NEWS and Denver Health Medical Center released the following information:

Kyle was taken to Denver Health Medical Center. The hospital says Kyle, "is currently in fair condition and is being evaluated by the trauma team. She is awake and visiting with family who asked that we thank the community for their immediate outpouring of support."

Kyle says she wants everyone to know that she is okay and is concerned about the viewers who were watching the incident live on TV.

Our well wishes are with her and her family.
