Just because I started watching the James Bond films at #17 (Goldeneye) doesn't mean I haven't had plenty of time to become a fan.  In fact, I was thoroughly disappointed when news came out back in April 2010 that Bond may not return after #22, Quantum of Solace, due to MGM's lack of funds.  Luckily, though, Bond found a way.  Just like he always does.

The 23rd Bond film, Skyfall was announced yesterday.  Slated for a November 2012 release, the movie will feature Daniel Craig playing Bond for the third time, as well as Dame Judy Dench returning for her iconic role as "M."  Joining them is a cast consisting of Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem, Albert Finney, and others.

In SKYFALL, Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

I know 23 movies about the same guy might seem excessive, but I have absolutely no problem with it.  James Bond is an institution at this point.  I feel like if they stopped now, moviegoers would be at a loss.  But that's just me.  What do you think?
