This is not really a case of a stupid criminal, more like a big case of the "oops." A 10-year-old girl has been cited for careless driving after she rolled her mom's car right through the front wall of the Parker, Colorado DMV office.

According to The Denver Channel, a mother pulled up in an SUV to the DMV office, left her keys in the ignition, and left her two daughters (aged 10 and 12) in the car while she went inside.

The 10-year-old put the car into gear and drove it right the the front wall of the building. This happened around 2PM yesterday, so there were plenty of people inside, but thankfully no one was hurt and there was no structural damage to the building.

The young lady is now facing charges of careless driving.

I would think the mom would faces charges of "careless leaving of your children in a car with the keys still in the ignition" before the little girl was charged, but that's just me.
